Postcode checks

Enter a postcode for an instant result, or check up to five postcodes together. The result shows whether the postcode point falls inside a designated conservation area.

API and website widget

Businesses can add the checker to their own website. Developers can also use the API to run postcode checks from their own software.

The data behind it

Conservation-area boundaries come from Historic England, Cadw and SpatialData.gov.scot. Postcode coordinates come from Ordnance Survey Code-Point Open.
